A-10A Two tone gray colors?

Hey, all- I’ve just got into the Revell 1:72 A-10 Warthog kit. I would like to opt for the two-tone gray scheme that was employed on the bird, using acylics. What grays were used? As always, any input is welcomed. Take good care- Craig

Depends on the sheme you are going for. There are two gray shemes False Canopy and Ghost Gray Shemes. The FS numbers on the pics are for Model master PAints
Here are two link that may help

False canopy scheme is the one. Thanks to ya for your insight!! Very nice, indeed.- Craig

This is the offical two-tone gray scheme worn by the A-10 for the past 15 years or so…

The other two gray schemes posted are early production gray schemes.

Way back when, i did an A-10 in a unique desert camo pattern that was very cool.

I did a medium desert tan base, and then i airbrushed medium/dark green and desert orange polka-dots all over it. By no means a fantasy paint job, as i had recalled actually seeing this scheme done on the real thing. (similar to what the ME-109s used in Africa)

Anyone happen to have pics of this scheme, or know what i’m talking about?

Found a scheme similiar to my earlier post above:

That woulod be one of the JAWS (Joint Attack Warfare) schemes…

You can find the patterns for these schemes on my site on the first page of the photos section.

That would be it. What a sweet paint job, looks even better when done on the model.

Anytime Craig glad I could help
