I picked up an A-10 kit in 1/48 and love all the goodies under the wings. So I started to wonder, has anyone seen an A-10 buillt model taken to extremes of mods and kit-bashing? Perhaps an extra nose gun grafted on, a few extra bombs, aux fuel on top of the wings, etc. Please post pics or links of you have. I know such a plane probably would never fly but it could make a mighty plane look even cooler if done well.

I’d lean toward mounting 20mm vulcan gun pods on all the hardpoints[:D]

How about mounting 4 extra engines on the tail and vulcan guns on all of the hardpoints. Then put two huge bombs on the wings.

How about a 1/32 A-10 carrying two 1/48 A-10s that are carrying two 1/72nd A-10s that are carrying two 1/144 A-10s?

Trailer for a game that never came out, Storm Birds.

Their version has 4 vulcans, 2 on the wings and 2 under the nose.
