A 1/24 Piper with a problem.

I have a problem.

I have started a Paper Piper! 1/24 scale no less! It’s from a fellow that no longer makes them for sale. Now the problem. How do I get the passengers for it and the pilot too. remember, we are talking civilians here. Help!

Oh, I have built three of his planes and they all came out great! Although Paper, when I painted them with the right kind of enamels they came out as nice looking as plastic ones. Even with detailed engines!

The biggest things is occupants. No plane really looks right without someone sitting inside ready to fire them up and fly away. So, where can I get sitting figures in 1/24 that don’t look like fighter pilots who are Constipated!

TB - how about those guys:

They are 1:22,5, but maybe you can hack them a little to make them fit!

Have a nice day

Heh…if its a Piper single, if you have to squeeze the figures together inside it, you’ll know everything is true to scale. [:D]

Might look at the availability of figures for car models, most of those are 1/24/25

Fujimi and Tamiya have 1/24th scale figures of drivers and mechanics. You may have to preform some orthopedic surgery on them to obtain the correct poses. I use them in my vehicle models Carl

Hmmmm;

Let’s See;

the guy in Blue-The Pilot.The other two, Passengers ! Thank You Pawel[:D[

I have Both,Eaglecash867;

Now,

The single isn’t built yet! Besides it’s printed on Purple paper!.

Thank You;

Goldhammer, I was thinking along those lines, But I want to do this with as little surgery as possible. My Figure Building ability Stinks!

Deputy Dawg;

If they had been say, 1/32, wouldn’t have been a problem. I have a few jangling along in my parts box from the old Revell kits!

Aftermarket car vendors are the answer. I forget which one, but one of them was big in figures- featured many- mostly hip teenagers to go along with hot rods and customs. Try a search on model car aftermarket.

Don;

Thanks, But I think I will let responsible adults fly my planes, But, the Teens can be passengers I guess, LOL.LOL. I do have some of those. Standing or leaning mostly " Ala Fonz" but tis a good thought.

Model Roundup may have what your looking for. they have figures for truck kits…

I believe G Scale trains is the equivalent of 1/24-1/25 scale. Try searching for Model Train accesories…

This guy is from a manufacturer of Train accesories…paint stripped, and repainted with tattoo added, of course!

Here is the same figure right out of the package…

The manufacturer is American Diorama, if that helps…

Thank You;

I will try that, and if you can find me some Ladies that would be nice.
