86' Corolla!

This is an Aoshima kit I built last year. It captures the type of cars that I saw when

I was younger in the streets of Puerto Rico. This is a curbside model. Paint is Testors’

Lacquers and an Odds and Ends clear coat.

Well done that looks awsome!!!

Man that’s what you saw in Puerto Rico? Lucky you. I like the tuners when they are done up like that. They look REALLY good. Some tasteful stuff there instead of overbearing. I like the cars I grew up around as well though, mostly muscle cars and drag cars. My cousin races NHRA, and is also Divisional Tech Inspector. Look up the name Dennis Boley, associated with NHRA, and that’s the kinda stuff I grew up around.

That is some nice smooth paint and some CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN, trim on there. Excellent job. I am most envious of your trim painting.

That’s sweet. With those wheels it almost makes it look like an SR5 though.

I need to find an 86 coupe kit to build. My friend has a GT-S for his daily driver. Pretty fun car … not too terribly fast stock … but then again nothing I own is stock so it’s hard to compare, lol.

Ecellent again, cruz! YOu’re really quite a prolific finisher!

Thanks for providng some info along with your post too! [:D]

Here is the link to the complete building process of this model!!
