56 ford victoria is complete

used mm camouflage gray as a primer painted top half of body mm classic white. Thinking of light green or light blue for roof and lower half not sure

Good looking molding, which kit? As a teenager a neighbor had a new one, yellow lower, white top. Looked great, he gave me a ride after washing it so it would rid the excess water, I helped him dry it off. From then on if he was going to wash it, there I was, towel in hand.

I saw some back then that were turqoise (sp?) lower, white top, looked really nice. Solid black was a beaut too.

A few days drying time and BMF time

Nice choice in colors. Looks spiffy!

thank you

Color is nuts on, looks great.

The mid to late 50s was a time of pastel colors and two tones, e.g. your green and white. There was also a tan, light blue (turquoise), pink, yellow,as well as two tones with black, e.g. black and red, black and yellow and black and white. Yours is very representative of the time. As a side note I leatrned to drive in a 58 Ford Hardtop convertable (sunliner?) and my first car was a 54 Ford 4 door with a straight six and a 3 speed on the column. It was more or less the color green you are using with a lot of rust color accent (real rust). The 56 Crown Vic with the 1/2 glass roof (tinted green) was the cats behind.

Half the car is with that [cnsod] BMF and it is a bear

Looks great. Nice choice of colors. Can I ask why you used the camoflauge as a primer?

it gives the green a more soothing shade

Oh yeh, the 50s were also an era of chrome.

1950’s car were so awesome, specially the ones from 1957.

Started with BMF one half done now the other

That is already gorgeous, crown. I’ve never had such luck with BMF on cars. You really do some beautiful work.

Man that is clean!!! [Y]

Well done.
