Today, on the 39th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon, and the end of that war, I am putting out the feeler announcement for a Vietnam War GB on here. Well, alright - I see your GB is like an A-bomb - hits everything! In that case I’m in, just don’t know what my model will be, but it will be Vietnam-themed. Until later, have a nice day

I take it this is the actual build thread Stik. In that case, put me down for the Italeri 1/72nd F-111A. I have been saving that for this GB.

Very interested in this one, but I’ll have to choose between an F-4C or A-1 Skyraider. I’ll let you know.

Not even sure If I have a Nam subject in my stash but if not then I will get one put me down as TBA

Ok, it looks like we are off and running on this already! Outstanding!

Stik,
I’ll jump in on this one as well with DML’s 1/200 B-52D Stratofortress. Once completed I plan on gifting it to my father as he did a tour as a tail gunner, counting SAMs on many occasions and fortunately never being hit by one.

Ok, you are added to the roster with your build sir [Y]

I will participate, probably something 1/72 scale and related to the ground war.

Excellent Rob! Glad to have you aboard!

Alright Stik. Put me down for a Hobby Boss F-105D Thud and an Academy F-4C Phantom both in 1:48.

=]

OK, bv, done!

Checking here, still trying to figure out what.

Lol! Well you have a couple months before this even kicks off

found a good one in my stash, put me down for a Italeri AC-119K Gunship

Excellent choice! You got it!

Hey Stick toss me on the roll-call with Academy’s 1/72 A-37B Dragonfly

This is perfect for me. I have a ton of models that don’t fit in “normal” Group Build categories.

Let’s start with a 1/72 J-79 on an Engine Maintenance Trailer, towed by a Ford Tractor, and then get weird from there.

Rex

OK, guys, you are all in and the roster updated. This is getting good!
