Coming through Chehalis WA yesterday came across a “snake on a stick” (Huey Cobra on a pole) for display at the Veterans Memorial Museum. Stopped to get pics and also found a 5"/ 51 cal. open mount from USS Colorado - BB45. Got some pics through the fence to put up on my PB account in the next couple of days for anyone that wants. Will put one here for a link to them.

That’s probably the mount that was on display outdoors at the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle before they moved it to it’s present location on Lake Union. I’m glad it found a good home.
