Here’s my Dragon 251/1 Ausf.D “Falke” night fighting half track that I finished for Dupes great 251 group build. The kit was built OOB. I wired up all the night vision equipment and connected to the top mg42/night vision combo to the battery power source behind the driver’s seat, wired up the front headlight, and finally wired the spare battery to the generator. The kit didn’t come with a generator, which through my research I found out that the real vehicles had one (GG400), but they made an empty spot for where it was supposed to go. It just didn’t look right having that big empty spot in the interior, so I did my first scratchbuilding and created one using spare parts and bits of plastic. It might be a little too large and not look exactly like the real one but it looks like a generator, and that works for me. The kit supplied antennae looks a little on the chunky side to me, so replaced by using small diameter wire. For the markings or lack there of,it was a late war vehicle and I’ve seen many pics of 251’s lacking any markings so I just used the kit supplied shipping placard.
