Well, I decided to jump on the band wagon and try these kits. I took some work but it was a nice, fun kit for the money. It did require alot of seam work, filling of sinkholes and screw holes. I realize there was a seam line along the top and bottom fuselage, but in the heat of the seam battle, they got cleaned up and I never rescribed. I noticed this after the finish coat but decided on a little inaccuracy over marring the finish. It’s OOB with the tri color camo scheme offered in the kit. Comments and crit welcomed…
I am in the middle of this one as well-- sweet kit for an awesome price! Yours turned out very well-- I still haven’t decided which scheme I’ll attempt…
They sure are. Walmart does not have a huge selection, but I have been lucky enough to pick up several of 21st Cent. kits. There are two versions of the 109, but they do not show it on the box. I wonder if they will be releasing some new kits.
well you have the ME-109F2/F4 and the ME-109G14. You can always check their website to see if there are any new kits upcoming. I’m really hoping for a 1/32 scale F-86.
Luckily, the spinner had a recessed line at the color break. I used a thin strip of tape and followed the line around. It took time to get it exact and for it to burnish down.
