2007... a busy year

Since I have been on the forum for the last couple of years, someone has invariably started a year in review thread so I figured what the H-E double hockey sticks, I may as well get ‘er goin’. And if someone has an excuse I can use to tell the kids why they’re only getting a pair of socks…I would love to here it[:-^]

Put your “year” here too. I barley rememebr what I did… let’s see oyur again.

Holy Shnikes … Fantastic kits !!!

So many … how did you make them in such short time ???

[bow]

Man, that penny sure got a workout!

Marc, I can honestly say your 2007 is a colection of osme of the finest work I have liad eyes one. Above all of that, you’e one of the classy acts in the modelling community. Therea re few on your high peak. I look forward to viewing more from you next year and jotting down the knowledge you are alwways so willing to share with us. Thank you for all of your advice and help in 2007.

A very timely and a very good post…nice holiday treat!

Thank you!

Nam

Those are some sweet builds![tup] Every one is amazing, but the one that blows my mind is the mustang in NMF with the checker nose! Its just so darn small!!![tup][tup][tup]

All are very well done wing nut. My favorite is the 262, the finish on that is excellent. The B/C P-51 of lee archer (I think) is a very close second.

In the words of Milo Hamilton (Astros play-by-play man), “Holy Toledo Wrangler!” That’s a lot of great looking builds.

Holy [censored] Marc!!! That’s a lot of builds. [:O] Looks like you had a great year.

I had a pretty busy year that didn’t leave a lot of time for models [:(]. Still managed to get a few done though with one more in the works.

oops, how’d that target get in there!!!

Nice work guys, always a pleasure to see those models again. Here’s mine for 2007:

Some builds to be proud of guys. [tup]

Marc, that is a slick camo job on the Helldiver. Never seen that before.

I’m new this year and my stuff is beginner, but I’m proud of it and this has been a great incentive to improve my skills.

Airfix Welcome Back GB:

Ford Tri Motor

Revell Monogram GB

USS Pine Island

SAC GB

Heller kit bashed C-54

Pearl Harbor GB

Williams Bros. B-10 (12)

Very nice builds everyone!

Nut you are a maniac, when do you sleep?

Bondo I like your choices on kits, a lot of stuff you dont see often and well done to boot.

Daywalker I love that six bladed spit, such a cool lookin aircraft and unique to find a spit that doesnt look like one.

Razordws what the heck is that rocket looking thing. looks like a bullet with windows

As for me, this is not only my builds for this year, but also all my builds so far. 2007 my first year, so here goes.

Brewster Buffalo Tamiya 1/48 WIP

Overall it’s been a good modeling year although I am just a little off my normal pace of one per month. Now looking forward to 2008!

Some outstanding work in here…nice to see that kits are getting built and not forever sitting in stashes!

Sleep? Oh yeah, I think I have a vague idea of what that is… Yeah I got a little carried away this year. Biz is slow so there will be a moratorium on kit purchases in '08. Just gonna pull from the stash.

Great looking stuff posted too, by a great bunch of folks. That’s why FSM is my fav forum. Most I remember but a few I don’t recall.

And a ? for Matt…Was the truck you built last year? I am losing track of time. Doesn’t seem that long ago.

Come on… nubes and old timers (as in regulars… no age discrimination intended[;)]) let’s see your stuff.

Right you are, I forgot all about the Ford Louisville - it’s added in there now.

Well everyone. Since this my first year back building, I chose all 1/32. Eyes you know. But this is all I have so far. I`m almost ashamed to post with all the fantastic builds here!!. First time forum member, and I think its the best group of people around, hands down

I don’t know how you can do those littile planes Marc.
