This is the Tamiya kit with no aftermarket parts was painted with Tamiya acrylics. modeled after a tank in the 1982 Lebanon war, the markings were masked off then painted

the kit is quite old and has some fitting issues, most notably when joining the top and bottom hulls. other than that it was a great kit for 20 bucks and a joy to build.

The biggest flaw with this kit is the shape/profile of the turret at the junction of the main gun and turret. The way it was manufactured provides a bit of a shot trap.
The front of the turret should go straight down to the hull without any undercut beneath the level of the main gun.

Nice job. I’ve got a couple of those kits that I’ve robbed for parts on other builds over the last couple of years, and there may be enough between the two of them to cobble something up. I have a lot of fun massaging those old Tamiya kits… good for what ails ya’.
