Its turning out really nice. It’s going to be a showstopper. I’m learning a lot from following your build. Thanks for posting it.
The last thing I have to do is attach the side windows. I’ve learned quite a bit on this build, especially about how to apply chrome. I had to scratch build the rail that attached to the radiator housing, and firewall. . I’m going to build a very small base for it. Something really simple.
Wow you’re doing a great job on this. The paint is miles deep and your engine details are just spot on. Great work.
Holy cow, @Cbowling, your build is just stunning! There are so many details that catch the eye. Really, really cool. Very well done. It is really going to be a standout when you get err done.
Reminds me of ZZ Top’s 32 Roadster!

Found some time today to finish the base. 100 grit sandpaper glued with heavy duty contact cement to three-quarter inch plywood. The sandpaper was primed first with Tamiya regular gray primer. Airbrushed three different colors to simulate asphalt. Purchased the Ford emblem at an extremely reasonable price. Glad to have this one finished.
Congratulations on a great build @Cbowling. It’s a real beauty! Thanks for posting.
Very nice build, Chris! Great paint job, and nice work on the engine. The base looks good also.
Thanks guys. I appreciate the comments.
