It’s great to see you tackle this classic kit! I think it still holds up pretty well, too, despite its age. I look forward to seeing your finish!

What did you use to secure the musket balls, by the way? I mean, beyond the bulkhead you installed? I’ve started using my epoxy putty. I use Aves Apoxie Sculpt for sculpting and other things, and it occurred to me to use it for packing weight into my tail-sitters.

2 part epoxy.I filed a flat spot on them so that they would stay put while the epoxy set.

Ok the gaps are tamed .Not perfect but an improvement from what I started with.

Horizontal stabs installed.

Upper engine nacelles installed.

Excellent fix on the gaps!

Thanks more to come I am sure!

Additional styrene fillets are necessary because the upper engine nacelles do not fit the underside of the wing.(big surprise…not!)
