This is my first time trying to post a WIP thread - hope I do it right! I’m starting on a '70 Challenger (the car I wanted most when I was in high school).
Engine complete (air filter will go on later):

Great start to your Challenger! Keep it going!
Good Luck with this awesome project AntiqueTroy! BTW, I think that a 70 Challenger was every boys dream car back in high school, at least from my generation.
Are you going to paint the body like the box art or go on your own?
I’m going to go with the box art. I like the orange and black, and I don’t really have any better ideas.
Nice, looking forward to seeing it finished.
The box art looks pretty good, it’ll look good once done. I’ve always thought that this is one of the few cars that would look good in the right shade of yellow as well. With the decals being just black stripes, your options are near limitless. Good work so far on it.
Thanks @Frozin! I agree that yellow would be a good choice too. I’ll probably be doing a Plymouth Roadrunner in the future and I plan to use yellow for that one.
Looking great, Troy! ![]()
Your interior looks great,
I always loved that pistol gripped shifter! Your build is looking sharp!
Nice job bud, coming right along, engine and interior look great.
Your Challenger is really coming along Troy! Maybe I slept through it(won’t be the first) but the color will the box arts color correct?
Happy Modeling,
Mike
Thanks Mike! Yes, I like the orange and black for this one (body is painted and did a couple layers of clear coat, letting it dry before decals and more clear coat). I just can’t think of a better color combo. Happy modeling to you too! - Troy
Ppphheeww, so I wasn’t sleeping haha. So when are you going to unveil the painted body?
Hint Hint…
And you are most welcome Troy!
Happy Modeling,
Mike
