Nice job. Black looks liquid. I dont think I ever saw the show.
Thank you Keavdog! The show was on for only two seasons, so little is known about it. Here’s the link to the opening credits.
Good-looking Stingray, Mike.
I’d also never heard of the show, thanks for the link to the intro.
I wonder were it not for the show, who would think of a black Stingray? It does look pretty cool.
Sweet! Miami Vice and Knight Rider wrapped up in a cooler car!
I think this is the first C2 I’ve seen painted black. It is stunning. What a gorgeous car. Well done, Sir!!

I watched the show back in the day. The only screen I remember about the show was stingray was tailing another car within the city, the guy jumps out of the vette and attaches a multipurpose light bar with a variety of lights and he would use a different head light setup when turning blocks…
N-I-C-E build! [Y]

Thanks guys! I must admit that I am not a fan of black. While it does look sinister, black just doesn’t show like a colored car (red, orange, green, yellow, etc.) should. You can stand back and look at a colored car and see the curves and the lines of the car. Black, even though the bodywork needs to be perfect and the paint applied perfectly, hides a lot especially in the dark.
