Thanks keavdog!
I did a mockup of the Riviera to set and check on the stance. I like it!

The Riviera got its coat of Tamiya TS-13 Gloss Clear. This is two mist coats and a medium coat of clear. A wetter coat of clear is coming soon.

beautiful !!
Thanks Nick! Even though Tamiya Clear dries quickly, I tossed the body and the hood in the dehydrator for a while. It seems to help a lot!
Shiney brother!
Thanks John!
After polishing the body and installing the chassis, I went looking for the radiator hoses only to find that there are none! None in the box nor are any called out for in the instructions! There no holes in the radiator, either! So, with ingenuity being the mother of invention, I got out a hose from the parts box and a piece of styrene rod and inserted the rod into the hose and glued it to the intake manifold. When that has dried solid, I’ll do the same to the other end and glue it to the radiator.

Now;
I can see it and yes ,you are getting her awesome!
Thanks Tank - Builder!
Well, it was bound to happen soon or later. I reach over the Riviera to reach a tube of superglue and when I had lifted the tube by the cap, the cap came off and the tube spilled onto the Riviera’s left front fender. My heart just sank! I sanded the fender and got it as smooth as I could, reprimered, repainted and reglossed the fender. The fender is now slightly darker than the rest of the body. I’ll have to refoil the trim that I had to remove and polish the paint. Lesson learned…tightly recap a bottle or tube of whatever I had used!

That was one of those stand out cars during the time.
And, they still stand out to me today! Still a very beautiful car!
Oh, Mr Mike!
I have to ask,What are you going to do with those beautiful Wires from the kit. Wanna Trade? Answer in Messages Please? T.B.
I used those wire wheels on my Honey West Cobra. The kit wheels didn’t look correct for me, so I replaced them. Sorry!
I’ve been following this build, I just haven’t posted yet. I feel bad about the damage on the finder. Such a gorgeous color and beautiful car. And a nice fix too. I’m looking forward to seeing this on it wheels.

I have finally completed my '65 Buick Riviera. I would like to thank all those who have viewed and commented on my WIP.
Wow Mike - what a beauty! Your builds are always first rate and interesting to follow, but this one is over the top.
Happy Thanksgiving;
