Revell kit. Refinished in BASF lacquers, clear coated in DuPont urethane clear. Engine wired and plumbed.

Looks very nice!!! The only thing I personally don’t like, is under it, half painted, (assembled and after painted)… I saw other modelers do the same, and I don’t know why…

Because that’s how it was done in the real world sometimes. The primered body gets sprayed, back then by hand, as it goes through the paint booth. The “halfpainted” area is the overspray from this process. It is the modellers attempt to replicate what the real deal looked like when it rolled off the line.

Could be on the Chevy, but I have a 56 and 54 Oldsmobile, and no one was painted in that way…

are they originals or restorations?

Both original… And both had one po… :slight_smile: One has 80k miles on it, the other one 120… :slight_smile:
