1956 ford f-100 flareside


this is a rebuild of a older build
i curbsided it cause i did not have the engine i wanted for this build
i resin printed the torque thrust rims and dash
the tires and door handles came from my parts boxes
the petrol fill cap came from a 72 gmc jimmy parts kit
i painted the cab and bed rust oleum 2x gloss coral
i painted the frame and bumpers and rims rust oleum bright coat aluminum
i painted the interior rust oleum 2x flat black primer
i painted the interior trim with a silver acrylic paint pen and a acrylic paint pen that is a similar pinkish orange colour to the coral i painted the exterior in
i painted the rear indicator lights with a amber yellow acrylic paint pen
i painted the gauge face and gauge needle with a white acrylic paint pen and a red acrylic paint pen
i painted the petrol fill cap with a silver acrylic paint pen

Great build of a classic truck! Acrylic paint pens sound a good idea, will try that. Like the video with “Peggy Sue” playing.

The Pink Lady is a true beaut. Besides, 1956 was my year of birth, therefore it must have my own age. My compliments for the paint work and the neat look of this model.
