Stephen, Looking Good! I really like the cracked earth. Might I suggest some washes (oil, acrylic) over the base in various earthtones to break up the monochromatic color scheme?

A few years ago several youtubers built pod-racers. It’s such a great subject for this kind of kitbashing. It’s got an esatablished form, but all kinds of room for creativity.

My first diorama, not too bad, but lots of room for improvement.

I don’t know much about the subject, being an armor modeler, but the cracked ground looks very convincing. Nice work!

Cheers chap, I’d love to say it was planned, but no, more by luck than judgement.
I used some packaging foam on the base, cut some away for the “dry riverbed” and just put some AK Terrains Light Earth over the rest & as it dried the cracks appeared
