This is a rare car to begin with. My dad owns one that he had built into a street rod. Do any model companies make one in any scale, I would like to build one for him for christmas.
That’s going to be a tough one to find in 1/24 scale, but I did find one in 1/43 sold by a business in England:
1936 HUDSON TERRAPLANE CUSTOM 6-62 4 DOOR SEDAN

The only other models of this car I can find are in 1/87 scale for the HO railroad people.
From their back issue listing I see Collectible Automobile magazine did a story on the 1932-1938 Terraplane in their February 1988 issue. They usually tell you what models (in all scales and materials) were produced of the cars featured in each issue. If you can find a copy at the library, or want to order one, you will find out what models are available. See:

By the way, It resembles a Cord to my eye, except for the grille. Hudson may have bought tooling from Hupmobile who bought tooling from Cord, so that a Cord kit might get you started on the basic body shape. Good luck.
Found out it was a fresh design & tooling (sigh…)
Take a look at this Terraplane restoration!
