These are pictures of a 1926 Mack, model AC, that is in dire need of restoration. It is probably beyond hope for anything other than replacing about three quarters of it. It is kind of like when they drag a pile of scrap metal out of a crash site and call it an airplane. The restoration is essentially using the parts as patterns and building a new airplane from them.
A couple of weekends and a few cans of Dupli-Color ought to do’er.
Seriously, if this is a group effort you need to assign someone just to scower the Southwest salvage yards for parts, someone to do the research for technical data, a crew of metal fabricators, welders, sandblasters, mechanics, someone knowledgable in the electrical systems, hydrolics, apolstery, and one or two rocket scientist.
Man that sounds like a fun project. Oh yea, don’t forget the Mack bulldog hood ornament! That should be the crowning glory when she is all done and ready to roll.
