im thinking about the badge, but i dont have ideas. i ll accept all the ideas or a finished badge.

Since you mention 1,000 years, would it be possible to create imaginary futuristic armor or even take a standard sci-fi subject like a Starfury from Babylon 5 and put German markings on it?[:D]

Interesting idea [:-,] but what are you thinking for time frame? If you want to take this as far as Hitler wanted to (1,000 year Reich), what parameters are you going to put down to give some guideance to some of us? Would a current Lufthansa Airbus plane be allowed, with just a different national flag on it? If we go to extrimes, how about a Saturn V rocket, but with the Nazi flag instead of the USA flag? And if Hitler had gotten his 1,000 year Reich, would that mean that most Euorpean nations contributions be outlawed for this (i.e. - France, Belguim, Britian, Russia, etc.)? Only aircraft? Only military equipment?

I wonder if you should leave that swastika off the badge though. It’s online so everyone can see it, which in turn leads to there will be people offended by it. Just to play it safe.

Although it is a part of history the fact is the swastika is a symbol hated by many and in some countries it is ILLEGAL to display it, switching it out for the german Balkencruz insignia instead would be a better idea for the badge

That looks good. Should not cause problems with those who don’t like to see the swastika even in historical context (not trying to make trouble here, I respect their view). But can we make it any smaller? I am thinking of the size limitations for badges.

Have you made any decisions to start/end dates yet? [?] Any other rules or parameters for the group build? This one has a lot of possibilites, and I could have some fun with it… [}:)]

You guys can take that image and scale it down to use it as a badge no problem, I don’t think I’ll be part of that group build though. I just found the subject interesting and wanted to come up with an idea for a badge.

I liked teh badge, but i’ll have to resize it. i was refering to the 1000 years reich that hitler dreamed. you can build a civil airplane or hitler’s modern car. you can even build a sci-fi german-decaled model. im not sure if i had said this before.

LOL ! “Warzenschwein” sounds great (accurate translation: hog should be “Eber” but “Schwein” sounds way better)!

I’ve been moitoring this thread and th idea intrigued me. I have two 1/144 Pavehawks (Dragon) and I might build them into Luftwaffe SAR Helos.
Now how would you translate Pavehawk … hawk would be “Falke” but pave???
