Hello everybody!
Some time ago my daughter asked me for a 1:egg KV-2 (some time ago she had built a pink Sherman all on her own). Unfortunately this time she kina lost the interest towards the end of the build. I decided to finish it to keep the parts from being lost. And when it was built, I thought I’m going to feel like MiG Jimenez at last and I’ll weather the beejeezus out of it. Here’s how it turned out:

Looks great Pawel! I’ve done two egg/toon tanks and they are such fun. Great pallete cleansers.
Those things are cool,I have a Tiger and a Firefly.
You must give those chibi kits a try! I, for one, am rather picky when it comes to details and accuracy (as a pattern-maker, it is a must! LOL) but I fell in love with those toon tanks and I regularly build one in order to hae some real fun between more complicated, ‘must be right’ projects. I’d recommend the World War Toons series from Meng, there’s about 20 or so different tanks to chose from in that series, and there are conversion kits available for some of them too! The tracks, one-piece vinyl affairs, are the weak points of those kits, but I’ve seen some of those kits ‘dressed up’ with 1/35 tracks from other ‘real’ kits, and that works a treat. I personnaly do not replace the tracks, but really enjoy playing around with those kits. Here are some examples of some of my work:
Those are very cool, and I do like the idea of caricatured conversions and modifications.
Those are great! These kits are really fun. I’ve done a couple toon tanks and the Suyata Titanic which is an amazing kit.
