This is the first time I have ever posted on this site, though I come here often to see all the amazing models you guys have here. When ever I get a chance to build a model I usually build larger scale car models.
Anyway, I am just starting a build that I though you guys might be interested in. I am building a 1/8th scale model of the Allison V-12 engine. I hope I have this posted in the right forum, it seemed to be the closest fit.
Since this is my first post, I am just going to see if I can post up some pictures. Please let me know what you guys think or if you have any ideas, I value your opinions a lot because of the fine work I see throughout all these listings.
Beautiful stuff. I’d love to have a built display of both the allison and the Merlin engines I know you don’t make the merlin. yet.) complete with abreviated props and spinners mounted on nice walnut or oak display stands.
But there ain’t a snowball’s chance in hell I can pay that for a kit. So, pipe dream I guess.
I post pictures at a max width of 1280 pixels, when the page is opened they show at about 450 pixels. When the reader clicks on them they will open up to full size. Sometimes when the page is first opened the picture will be cropped until all the data is read, then it will right itself.
WOW!! Awesome kit! I didn’t know that anyone offered the kits that TDR does. I’ll definitely be checking your website periodically for new stuff. And, being a MOPAR fan, I just GOTS to have one o’ dem 426s you got in the catalog!! [:P]
