1/72nd Lysander Finished.

Hi Guys,

Photos of my 1/72nd Lysander. The kit is the Airfix one. Not too bad as it happens, went together quite cleanly. As there are no AM kits available I scratchbuilt a cockpit, added an Aeroclub control stick and bucket seat plus some Eduard seatbelts. Sadly no option to show cockpit open so perhaps a waste of time!! but they are in there I promise!!!

Hope you enjoy

Nicely built Harrowbeer and a good looking craft. I’m just wondering what camo colours you used? Is it just the camera or does the camo actually have that blue tint. Never built one of these so I don’t really know anything about what colours they used,

nice finish on a unique aircraft…

Looking good nice work.

Great looking model Harrowbeer…nice job.

Hi fella

No matter what detail you inclued and if it’s visible, at least you know it’s there and that’s what counts.

Nice build!!! I saw a Lysander last week flying at Old Walden airshow in the Uk. Lovly sound and grace as she flew.

Classic bird and nice build. Some details you get to see, some only while you are making them, but they are still details nonetheless.
Cheers,
Eric

Great looking job on the build.

Nice job on a unique aircraft!![^]

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

Razordws the camo scheme used is referred to as Temperate Sea Scheme which is Extra Dark Slate Grey, Darkk Sea Grey over Sky. However there seems to be a blue hue over the photo, think I may have to give it a dose of Photoshop!

Very nice! You have done a great looking Lizzie there, thanks for sharing,

Darren.

Nice job on the Lizzie. Haven’t seen anyone build one of them in a while.

Very nice build. The color cast of the pics does not match the camo colors you cited. Definitely needs a little Photoshop juice.

Regards, Rick

Nice job on the Airfix kit!
