1/72nd Huma Triebflugel

This is my latest finished dio, completed just this morning. It was built for the Special Wingdings and Prototypes GB’s. Theres no AM for this kit, and the pit was pretty bare. So i added a resin seat and metal MG 151 barrels and pitot designed for the He 162 and Eduard PE instruments, DF loop and antenna designed for an Me 262. It was painted with Xtracolour enamels and decals came from my spares.

The tower was scratch built with brass rod and sheet styrene. This was my first attempt at soldering. The wheel come from the spares box off an old piece of modern US ground equipment from one of the Hasegawa sets.

Thanks for looking. All comments, good and bad, welcome.

A visually simpel but very effective diorama. The sense of emergency is clear with that running pilot and this underlines the point defense/urgency role of the Triebflügel. I like it very much.

Thanks very much. I am glad that comes across in the scene.

Very nice, Bish! Sorry I didn’t come across this sooner. I’ve seen pictures and models of the plane before but never the servicing platform. Good job!

Russ

Thanks Russ. I only came across an image of the tower on Luft 46 at the last minute. I had intended a simple ladder for the pilot to climb aboard. But i like this a lot more.

Beautiful work there Bish! The Triebflugel looks sharp and really nice work on the base and ground crew. Nice idea there too!

Thanks gamera, mutch appreciated. I have had quite a bit of practice with this type of base lately, this is the 6th one in a row.
