In the near future, I’m planning on trying some 1/72 scale figures. How can I get the best results? I’ll be painting the 24th Infantry of Foot .
A while back, I did a google search for “painting 1/72 plastic figures,” and found a whole host of web sites on the topic.
Here are a couple of the sites I found:
- http://www.finescale.com/FSM/CS/forums/128908/ShowPost.aspx
- http://miniatures.de/html/int/fastpaint.html
- http://www.hat.com/Tips.html
I hope these links help.
Here are the second and third figures I’ve painted. I think they came out okay, but I should have done a wash on the faces:

Guy in our club builds everything from 4mm to 1/4th scale. Here is how he does the smaller stuff.

Philip,
Great links! Thanks for passing those on. I’ll have to try his method with small-scale figures.
