Just finished these 4 kits. Though they were a joy to build I must admit that the omissions of the Italeri Kübelwagen irritated me.
I used the hood of of the Academy Kübelwagen as the Italeri one looks ridiculously incorrect.
Weathering will be done when I made a definite choice for a diorama setting.
First: the NSU Sd.Kfz. 2 Kettenrad and the Volkswagen Typ 82 Kübelwagen from Academy’s WWII Ground Vehicle set (1310):
Second: the 2 Italeri Kübelwagen (7024). I will use them in the future in a African setting and gave them the desert camouflage of the Afrika Korps:
