Leon.
Great looking B-57, Leon. I like it a lot![tup]Very nice finish on the model. Thanks for posting the pics.
Well done, Leon! I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for the old B-57. [tdn]
Cheers

Nice work! I was relunctant to purchase an Airfix kit of the Canberra but you sure made it look great! I know where one is so I just might…

Terrific job on the 57. Very nice finish. It looks a little odd to me because I am used to the camouflaged ones from Viet Nam. I can’t quite make out the shield on the fin. Is that a SAC shield or TAC?

Another great job. What did you use for the NMF? Thanks for sharing.
Very nice job on the venerable Airfix kit. Looks great.
Regards, Rick
Another nice build, Leon! I’ve enjoyed looking at the pictures of your builds. A very nice selection of aircraft you’ve modeled.

yardbird78: Hey, that’s great , I, out oldded you, ha,ha!!
That shield on the tail is not very defined on the model it self.
It is neither TAC or SAC. Hard to say what it is. After all, these were the
kit decals. All I can tell you, is that it looks like a ball( or globe) with a single wing
on the right side ,attached to it. Maybe a wing patch, of some kind.?
Oh, and the finish is Testors Silver Metallic, and Gloss Enamel Clear,
both from the rattle can, they came in.

Nice clean work!
Leon, that’s my kind of airplane, one outstanding B-57. And, in fact, that’s the livery the American Canberra went to war in early in the Vietnam conflict, just as the Thuds and Huns did, and the early USAF F-4’s over there were painted in Navy gull-gray and white with the TAC badge with a lighting bolt through it on the tail. The early Vietnam B-57B’s were in NMF with a red, blue or yellow squadron stripe around the top of the vertical tail.

excellent work Leon!
[:)] Very nice model. Thanks. I don’t know what it is about that plane, but it is one beautiful machine, and in the air, so graceful. Thanks
