1/72 Italeri F6F-3 Hellcat (PICS)

beautiful cat you have there… great technique, can be used in other areas of the build too.

Great looking Hellcat, Chris, and nice job with the brush!

Hi Chris, I too are a fan of yours now!..Great job! I use a air brush on my models in fact I have four, but thats because I like to collect…ha,ha…Also because I could never do a paint job like you’ve done with a brush… I do use a brush to detail my models and only paint with arycrilics too, , I’ve found that if I use "Createx transparent airbrush extender"to thin, that my acrylics don’t dry fast and I do have time to do my weathering and dry brushing better than using water or acrylic thinner to thin out my paints when I’m weathering my models…Maybe you’d find it works better for you too and you could feather and not have your paint dry so fast as you said it does in your coment on page one of this …I really like your style of painting with a brush and will try it on my P-61… I just opened the box yesterday when I got home from MHS yesterday…I’d stopped in to buy a bottle of Testers “Stainless Steel Buffing Metalizer” I read its better and cheaper than Alcad II for making chrome…I saw the P-61 Black Widow sitting there all lonesome, wagging its tail…It followed me home so I’m going to keep it! Ha,ha…“Thats my story and I’m sticking with it!”[:D] Thanks for sharing…“RC”[C):-)]
