1/72 Hasegawa F-4E WIP

I am working on this kit to hang in my 3 year old nephews room and I am going at a good clip and am at the painting stage right now. Originally I was going to build it gear up but since the gear doors don’t fit I’m going to build it gear down.

Fuselage and wings dryfitted

Inboard hardpoint with sidewinder rails

NMF on the horizontal stabilizers

Made a little goof on the painting of the port stabilizer which was fixed when adding the first color of the camoflage.

First color added to the Stabilizers

Second color added

final color added

I’m going to post more in a bit right now the F-4 is primed just waiting to start painting the faded Olive Drab so I can begin to start laying the rest of the camo patterns.

Looks like you are off to a good start.

Yup I definitely am though I do need to retouch the canopy frames and remask the canopy in order to begin the camoflage process. This is going to hang in my nephews room really high up so he can’t get to it LOL.

In a couple of years you can build models together. I do that with my cousins and nephews and it is loads of fun.

LOL It’ll be quite a few years before I do that he is only 3 and his family lives in a small home right now.
