I’m almost done with my Cyber-Hobby He 162A Salamander. I have in my stash the Academy 1/72 Enola Gay. The lack of a Fatman bomb to go with Little Boy and create and historic model, keeps me from building it. I’ve been looking around and only one resin Fatman is available for $50. AFAIK, Fatman was included with the kit, please correct me if I’m wrong. Voiding this from the kit, is as silly as eliminating the Swatstikas from German subjects IMHO and all due respect…
Is there an alternative to a 1/72 of Fatman at a more realistic price?
The atomic bombs should be in the Academy kits. I have both 2154 “Enoly Gay” and 2173 “Bocks Car” and both kits contain the appropriate atomic bomb that each aircraft carried.
Thanks for your response Bronto. My kit is 2154 and the only bomb I see in there is Little Boy which is assembly step #4. Fatman is not included, not even in the instructions. Somewhere months ago I read that the kit used to include both bombs but Fatman was removed.
