Here she is, with plenty of mistakes, an inaccurate loadout, and decals that had to be removed, redrawn and reapplied…but I like the results and had fun, which is all that matters!

Thats cool! Ii remember seeing a photo of the acutual bird and though it was prety neat. This paint scheme does a job on the eyes, for sure!
That looks really great! The finished product is awesome! [tup] I think it looks good with the loadout, I mean, if they can carry it, then its not to inaccurate is it?
Very nice done, Frank! As you said, the most important thing is to have fun, but to end up with a nice build like yours is icing on the cake!

That’s an excellent looking F-18. I really love the paint. Also, I really like the layout, with the other jets. It looks real professional. Very sharp!
Outstanding. Nicely done scheme.

Great job on the build.
Thanks all for the kind words! It was a tough one, but I learned a lot along the way. Next time around, I’ll use Dark Gull Gray for the darkest gray, and I’ll keep a better eye on paint buildup. The final coat of Light Ghost Gray went on thick…not catostrophic, but enough to annoy me. I also need to work on applying the clear decal film over inkjet printed decals…they disintegrated in a few spots and I had to print out a new sheet and start over… [banghead]
