Howdy everyone, I have Academy’s 1/72 F-104G and its a nice enough kit minus the canopy and the lack of cockpit. I’m coming on here to see if anyone has parts to spare so that I can rebuild this kit and make it more accurate. If not can someone point me in the right direction where to find aftermarket parts. I would much prefer spare parts, as I’m trying to do this build on a budget and already shelled out for aftermarket Canadian Decals. Thanks for youre help [B]
Alex, I’ve got some stuff that may be of help to you if you’re interested. Basically, it’s a 1/72 Revell/Monogram kit with a fret of Eduard PE, an AM resin afterburner, and a neat AM set from CMK that includes resin cockpit goodies including the bang seat, tub, plus various resin avionics bays, resin nose cone w/radar array, more PE, and a vacu-formed canopy. Been thinning out my stash a bit, focusing mostly on WWI stuff, so what I mentioned above is yours if you want it, gratis of course. Shoot me a PM if this sounds like something you could use.
Mike, if you still have the F-104 bits I’d be interested, sir. I have the Italeri kit and it needs a cockpit in the most terrible way!
