These are the main elements of a small vignette I am working on for the Red Storm GB. Both are almost finished (99%) and I won’t get all the elemnts of the vignette done before the end of the year.
Calibri (Fort) 1:72 Gaz-67B Jeep, which went together remarkably well. I have yet to add stowage, which you can see at right of the image.

A fairly new release of the Italeri 1:72 IS-2 which is another kit that went together well, though it had its moments. Italeri 1:72 kits are nice but do not come up to the Dragon Pro 1:72 releases detail or quality wise. I still need to add some weathering and wear around the turret grab rails.
Tracks are link to length, the top run consisting of two lengths which do not allow the builder to add the sag between return rollers so common on Soviet armour, without major surgery. Indy lengths for the whole upper run, though fiddly in this scale, would have worked way better.
I used the official Doog method of track link assembly, which worked extremely well.

Both painted using Vallejo Acrylics, artist oils and MIG Pigments
I apologise for the quality of the images. These were taken at my workbench, not where I normally take images with my good digicam, lights and tripod.
Figure and base is next, after the festive season.
Cheers
