1/72 Bf109G. My 1st ever AIRPLANE model.

This model is an Aurora Heller Messerschmitt Bf 109G. This is my first ever Aircraft model. The painting my not be the best or right, but i am new to modeling and I am kind of experimenting.

Pretty good job for a first model, well done…[Y] If you get the modeling bug grab yourself an airbrush…

Good luck in basic and stay safe! [Y]

I definitely plan on getting an airbrush, i just don’t have money, and i don’t know anything about them so i wouldnt know what to buy

Evyn,

Looks good. Did you brush paint the whole thing or use a spray can? How did you do the speckling?

Paul

The whole model is hand painted with brushes. no airbrushing or cans. and for the spots I had a paintbush that i cut almost down to the end of the stem. then I dipped the very short bristles into paint, wiped it on to some cloth to dry it then tap brush against the model

Looks good. You have definately found the right hobby.

Nice one for your first aircraft. Keep them coming.

Regards, Rick

Nice build - especially for your first one! Very creative use of the brush for the speckling!

Looks good for your first plane.

Nicley done, always did like the lines of the 109. You say first aircraft. what did you build before?

Very nice. For the money, practice your brush skills before graduating to an airbrush. You’ll use those basic skills forever.

Good luck with Basic…

Tim
