1/72 Airfix Bristol Belvedere

Hello again. A few months ago I picked this kit up ‘used’ from EBay.

It is the old Bristol Belvedere. I wanted to have the cabin door open, so I put in a card-stock floor and painted some bulkhead lines on the inside of the fuselage. I could not find any references regarding a seating arrangement, so I went with a plain cargo floor no seats.
The fuselage took a lot of careful sanding and then small applications of liquid contact cement to get together. Both halves were pretty badly warped.
The two halves of the fuselage front(molded in clear) were in very bad shape; inclusions, scratches, fogging, and very poor fit. Once I had them in place, I hand-cut masks from thin masking tape, and painted with rustoleum. Finishing paint was just water-based acrylic. I was able to use the supplied decals.
