I’m currently working on the Fujimi A-6A Intruder in 1/72 Ok, now onto the questions (more than one … sue ME![:O])
1st off, the speedbrakes I am using have recessed holes in them. Are they suppose to go all the way through?
2nd, does anyone produce any decals for NATC Strike Warfare Branch, Service Test or Flight Test Division ca. 1963-65 for the A-6A?
tia,
Eddie
Yes, the holes went all the way through. As far as decals, I can’t help you with that.
Thanks Bill, I thought they did. Just wasn’t sure.[:)] My uncle was a Test pilot at Pax River,MD from 63-65 on the A-6A and EA-6A Projects which is why I’m looking for these decals.
Thanks
Eddie
Here’s a pic of the a/c my uncle had flown at NATC

Upon further research I have found someone to do up custom decals for me for this EA-6A
Now I have to ask y’all [:O] are there any AM parts for these items???
ALQ-53 Passive receiver pod (obd. Pylon)
ALQ-54 Passive receiver pod (Ctr. pylon)
ALE-32 Chaff pod (inbd. pylon)
Now, for the doozie…[#oops][:-,] How do I go about scratchbuilding the ECM Recon. Radome on the tail??
Any input would be appreciated.
TIA,
Eddie
Now that I have assembled the wings, I noticed a “lip” along the leading edge near the wing root [%-)] this
is consistent on both sides just above the intake… everything else lines up nicely except for this one small
[censored] section [:(!] Do I sand it down or, do I putty it up?
TIA,
Eddie
