A Simple and easy to build kit from Tamiya(Rebox of Italeri Kit.) Despite its raise panel lines but the detail are still ok.

Nice job. I thought it was 1/48 at first.[:D[
Next time wash your hands before handling a model. Look how dirty it ended up! Ha, ha, ha.
Nice work. I’m not brave enough to weather my planes much. You should try a Fujimi A-4 as well.
I was going to mention the weathering. It looks realistic! A bit dirtier than I’d do an airplane. Armored vehicle for sure, but a plane that dirty would have the higher-ups raising Cain until some poor enlisted schmoe got out there with a sponge and a bucket!
Nice looking build you have there!
Chris
Looks good. Over weathered for my taste, but weathering is a personal choice.

Thanks for the compliment guys, I guess the overweather maybe due to raise panel lines. Cos I need to use my poweder hard to bring out the detail…
Just one comment on the weathering - the weapons shouldn’t be weathered. They wouldn’t be loaded until just before a mission and wouldn’t have time to get dirty.
My personal opinion is that most weathering is overdone, particularly in smaller scales. The best results I’ve seen have been very subtle. As always, the best guided is to work from actual examples or photographs.

Another small problem is that the USS Intrepid was CV-11 not CV-51. Still, except for being way too dirty,
it is a very nice job
(Airplanes on a carrier deck do get VERY dirty and cleaning them with aircraft waterless cleaner is a real
PITA)

Nice Scooter… [:D]
Actually it looks more like an “S” than a “5”, and a “1” is missing - Intrepid was also designated “CVS-11” at one time.
That is true! I actually flew off of her a number of times out in the Tonkin Gulf…
