ok just started this recently and I hope I got the hull colors pretty close. Since I’ll be starting on hull camo pretty soon.

guess I’ll make a couple more seperate posts so as not to make 1 huge post.

ok here is some more

last one of this set coming up.
last set for now

well up next is the camo and the wash then onto the deck and superstructure.
Looks good Mike.
I finally finished taping and puttying( is that even a word…[:-^])? On my Bismarck. I installed the shafts and struts first so it made it a real pain in the butt.
What color did you end up using for the hull? I am about to mix up some MM British Crimson and either brown and or rust to see how it looks. Hopefully I can at least get some work done this weekend and post pics soon afterward in the thread I created.
Keep up the good work.
Regards,
Jeff
I used Tamiya’s Hull red color for the hull below the Waterline boot stripe. You could have tried Mr. Surfacer to go over the hull before you painted the 1/350 RoG Hull. I got the hull masked both sides for the complex camo stripes. I’ll have to do the other camo later
Well the Bismark finally has his stripes.[:D]

I have the final bit of camo painting to do then he will be set aside till I get some White Ensign 1/600 scale Bismark details next month to finish this project up right.
Well at least the hard part will be done since painting the hull would be difficult if the superstructure was in place.
Watch the bridge shape on this one-it needs a little rework.
I’m going in a slightly different direction with the Bismarck I ordered the 1/600 GMM Bismarck set so I can get some much needed railing.
Looks like its coming along fine to me.[Y]
WOW Bro! This project been dragging for 2 years…
