1/48TH scale felmale figure

Anyone know where I can get a 1/48th scale female jet pilot figure?

Are you looking for one just standing in a flight suit? All geared up and seated, I dont know how you can really tell the difference in 1/48.

Do you have a couple of BBs that you can glue on to the chest?

What, is Barbie or Dolly Parton flying this jet?[8D] Or maybe it’s Morganna, the Kissing Bandit?

and we wonder why there are so few female modelers…

HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!

No, you buncha nuts! BB’s, my good ness!

Sorry about not being more forthcoming in my original request - STANDING, PREFERABLY IN FLIGHT SUIT

Thanks for your response - very entertaining, hope i can get some good info!

About the only thing I can find is a 1/48 Female Mechanic of “Blue Impulse”(JASDF) UN-001 by UTAMARO Modeling. (About 2/3 of the way down on page 3) Note: Not all images are work safe.

Available from Miniature Park

I know of an ICM kit of Russian WW2 figs and ground crew that features a woman but shes in a shirt and dress. Perhaps you could do some kit bashing to make it work.

And wow those Utumaro models are HAWT!!! Those cheeky Japanese and there deviant ways lol!!!

It seems to me that Hasegawa or Tamiya makes a flt. line crew set with female pilots like you want. But I’m not 100% positive.

The Monogram pilot figure that comes in the F-5 (and a couple others IIRC) is a fairly easy sex-change to a female, since the figure’s wearing everything:G-suit, harness, vest… All you need to do is the hair with some putty…

You could probably do a little part swapping using this set from Hasegawa to get what you want…

Hagesawa makes a ground crew set with an air cart, hydraulic test cart, chocks, fire extinguisher, and a bunch of ground crew figures… There is a crouching female mechanic figure included. I can post a picture when I get home if you need one.

The set is out of production last I checked.

Howza 'bout a little inspiration. I find this photo to be incredibly appealing.

I hear ya Jerry! I find this one appealing as well. [sigh]

How about a REAL bombrack?
