Sharp bird and well photographed at that @USAF_462_2W1 . ![]()
I had this kit for a bit and gifted it to someone on here a few years back. After seeing this one, it makes me want to go out and get another one.
Very nice! I need to add one to the stash. I think black aircraft are tough to do - you did a great job.
Thanks guys, this was my second model after getting back into the hobby.
I’ve always loved the look of the F-117A. Beautiful work.
Your F-117A looks great! You built this back in 1998?
Yes sir that’s correct.
Nice crispy finish on that. Do you recall what paint recipe you used for the black? It looks great.
Another nice one. You need to share these on the Show-Your-Revell-Monogram-builds thread.

The black was Model Master Classic Black ( it’s a gloss ) which enabled me to go straight to decals.
Your -117 looks great.
I first saw one in person at an air show in Houston, Texas in the fall of 1991. There were armed soldiers protecting that airplane and all you could do was look at it from the staircase that had been placed nearby. That spurred me to build a 1/32 kit, I think by Testor’s, shortly thereafter. That build has not survived my various moves, so I more recently built Tamiya’s 48th scale kit.
Nicely done, I have this kit waiting in my stadh.
Very impressive build. Great finish and base presentation.
