1/48th Kettenkraftrad with Utility cart and Goliath Demolition Machine

This is my second attmept at model building…Its the Tamiya 1/48th Kettenkraftrad with Cart and Goliath Demolition Machine. This kit was a supurb kit fitting together with much ease and little clean up. Take a look and let me know what you think…

Very nice build Mary. I have the Kettenkraftrad that came with their Me-262 and it was a really nice little kit. Welcome to the boards!

Nice job on the kettenkraftrad. How small is this thing in 1/48 scale?

Welcome, Mary. We hope you like it here.

Really nice job on the Ketten and friends, Mary. Great weathering! I’ve got the same kit, but haven’t done too much on it. Took a back seat to my Pz IV and Tiger (and…and…and…!).

Have a good day, and keep those models coming and posting!

Thats very nice build. I’m very excited about Tamiya’s recent announcement of more 1/48 armor kits - including diorama accessories. Nice to see these being bought and built. Welcome to the forum.

Wow, what amazing work for a second build of all time. I’m very impressed.

Does your worse half (I guess that’s what you call it – men refer to their girlfriends/wives as their “better half” [;)]) model? If so, I can see how modeling techniques might rub off on you. It took me a long time to get up to speed on modeling to get at the level you’re starting at. [:0]

Very nice! It looks brush painted but very well done brush painted.
Looking forward to seeing the dio.

Excellent build. I’ve got one that came with my ME-262 but haven’y built it yet. Yours may give me the inspiration needed.

Regards, Rick

This kit was mostly airbrushed…My other half…boyfriend/fiance’ he is the modellor of the family…He got me into it about a year ago. His work is totally awesome and i have learned a lot from him.

looks really great, thanks for the pics and keep up the good work!

Beautiful job Mary. Are the tracks rubber band type?

Nice tiny build!
Great weathering!
