1/48 Wellington

Just had my Dad purchase Trumpters 1/48 Wellington 1c for my birthday. Great Dad!!

There is little colour call out for the interior and I wondered if any one had any wal around shots and or cockpit pics they would share.

The cockpit area was probably painted a dark grey or black for night operations. The airframe was covered with fabric. The fabric was then painted on the outside with red dope to shrink and make it airthight. It’s a sort red-brown like red oxide primer. This tended to leak through a bit so the interior was a sort of browny colour with a red tinge. You can see what I mean if you follow this thread (you need to go to the bottom):
