I have that one stashed also. I can’t offer any suggestions because it looks like you did such a good gob on it I can not find one thing to suggest! The weathering looks spot on also. What method did you use for the chipping? It looks perfect.

I used dry brushing for the chipping and a silver colored pencil to highlight the panel lines…also a bit of wash for staining and streaking i am also a big fan of a good spraying of dullcoat to even everything out and put it “in scale”.

Great looking build. I built the kit myself a while back and its a corker. I dont think it used any filler at all and was dirt cheap. A lot of plane for your money. I did the same colour scheme,

Are those decals, or did you paint it?
They are the kit decals…but as I mentioned earlier after I decal and weather I give the build a shot of Dullcote. It makes the decal edges disappear and give them the painted on look.
Guy,…very nice…I like the engine…I didnt get a closeup pic of mine because its not the original engine and cowl…somehow I lost it and had to replace it with one froma Fujimi kit…not a good fit.
