1/48 Turkish Spitfire Mk.Vb

Hello mates…

Last weekend I’ve started to build this Tamiya 1/48 Mk.Vb kit. British Goverment delivered 69 Mk.V varriants to Turkey on 1944. I dont have decals for TuAF then profile illustrations help me for the markings and numbers. thx

As usual I’ve finished cockpit

almost done

You’ve done an extremely fantastic job on this build!

Toshi

Another great job there in progress! I’ve tried masking off numbers and insignia like that but always get some leakage and it ends up being a mess, yours looks perfect.

That looks great, your paint work is excellent. Nice !!

Thanks a lot for your great words mates, i planned to build it more carefuly but it will go as a gift. Aso I am building a base for it. Tonite I’ll try to final photos. Cheers!!!

And the final…

Wow! That looks fantastic! I have to agree the 5514 turned out great! Nice masking job! Is this all OOB? Or did you add some aftermarket pieces? I’m just about to start the same kit.

Thats a very good looking model.

I got my Tu Af decals from an outfit called Tourquoise Decals.

She’ll look good next to a 190.

How in the world did you cut those numbers so cleanly. What and awesome build!

I used only Eduard seat belts. OOB Tamiya or Airfix Mk.Vb can be TuAF, no need any modification. Thx a lot.

Thx… Yes i agree with you, F190 A3 will be next one

Thank you… Only need a very sharp knife and slowly cutting patiently…

Really love those markings, great job on the weathering.

Thank you, sir…
