1/48 Testor F-5A Freedom Fighter 10th Fighter Command Squadron Blen Hoa, Vietnam 1965 In flight

Hey guys, this build was my first crack at “in flight” display with acrylic rod. Didn’t get it quite right, but hopefully next time I will get the rods identical.

Though you may not believe you did a good enough job, it is a neatly painted and very eye catching display.[:D][Y]

I built that kit many decades ago and after seeing your build, I am thinking about buying another kit next time I see one at a swap meet.[^o)]

Very nice in flight display! I really like that stand!

I don’t see those being built too much anymore; well done!

Very very nice build. I like the base/stand as well. One small correction in the “Command Squadron” location, it should be “Bien Hoa”, not “Blen Hoa” . “Bien Hoa” is a small town just outside Saigon, Viet Nam

Thanks guys, thanks for letting me know about the error in the spelling of the town cnq, must have been a typing error on the instructions.

good looking display, the early F-5 always has had a look I like, nice and simple

Hey Grant, That is really really cool. You did a magnificent job on the F-5 and the display stand looks fantastic to me. What an awesome way to display your model. Excellent job. Thank you for sharing that with us.
