1/48 Tamiya P-51 Completed

Thank you Butz. Couldn’t agree more, this is a great hobby for having fun and relieving all the stress out there these days.

Hammer, I have to get better detailing my cockpits and there are a few flaws in the paint, mostly due to my impatience. They might be hard to spot but being the one that put them there they stick out like a sore thumb to me.[:$]

Mike

you said right there… Fun, and relieveing stress… thats the name of the game. Have fun !

Keep up the good work . !

Wow!

If I could only be half that good I would be happy!

Nice lookin’ pony! Really love the NM and the subtle weathering. Then the bright red accents add pop.

Sometimes you get lucky and everything goes right. Other times…[:S]

Well, then enter via the internet instead of in-person, lol… But nobody is a bigger critic of your work than you are…

I’m the same way… People look at mine and say,“Wow!”, and “Really nice!”, and things like that, and I think, “Are you NUTS? Man, this is ate-up here, this’s screwy, this’s wrong, etc, etc, etc”, … If I think, “It’s a GREAT 4-footer” though, well then I’m happy with it. Meaning that I think it looks great form 4 feet away, lol…

“A great 4-footer.” LOL I don’t think I’ll ever build a model that I’m totally satisfied with but it’s sure fun trying. We are our own worst critics.

My brother gave me a FW-190 to build for him over a year ago and I still don’t think I’m ready to do it right yet.LOL
