my fellow modelers.
in my quest to build all of the flown Blue Angels #7 aircraft, my desire has turned to the TA-4J. actually any TA-4 version will do, just as long as its a two seater.
Does anyone make/made this kit in 1/48. also, how about decals, anyone have any knowledge/advice on that too?
any information would be HIGHLY appreciated

There was a TA-4 kitted in 1/48 several years ago, but I can’t recall the manufacturer. I think it may have been Fujimi, but memory fails. Super Scale released a couple of 1/48 decal sheets that included TA-4’s, but they are long OOP. I picked one up a couple of years ago from the Estate of a deceased modeler in the hope that Hasegawa might expand their A-4 series. So far no luck on that front.

I don’t build 1/48 myself but the Detail in Scale on the A-4 lists the Fujimi kit as the only 1/48 scale TA-4, however it’s underscale, the fuselage is actually shorter than a 1/48 single seater. I’d wait for hasegawa to do one.
