Does any one know where I can find a nice 1/48 scale Flanker? I’m modeling a ficticious plane based on a PS2 game. Ejection seat and detail parts would also be a huge help! Thanks for the 411 !
Academy make a kit in 1/48 scale and there’s also an Italeri kit out there too. The Academy kit is reviewed here: http://modelingmadness.com/reviews/mod/grensu27.htm
As for detail parts, True details have a cockpit set with full ejector seat and cockpit detail. It should be available from squadron or a similar mail order site.

The guy seems to know his stuff about the Su-27 and obviously loves the aircraft. In the article he describes how accurate the available Su-27 kits are compared to the real thing (plus some tips on accurizing them). You’ll also find his descriptions of other 1/48 Su-27 kits from HobbyCraft and Trumpeter. Hope this helps.

Academy also makes the 2 seat SU 27UB flankers which I have but if you need to do anything get the True Details ejector seat from squadron as well as the detail set from Eduard.

I love that game!
I bought recently a Su-27 1/48th from Zhengdefu. It is a very cheap kit but there is a lot of work to do. Ideal kit to train various technics of modeling. His price really allow to try new things.
Yes i was also currious about which game and plane you were looking to recreate ace combat 4 is one sweet game and there are a few different flankers in that game i like the grey white and black camo pattern on the one good luck and let us know how things go.[8D]
